Small routines.
A little more peace of mind.
I Did It helps you keep a simple record of everyday things. Add a familiar name or photo, then tap I did it when you finish.

- Add a routine on iPhone. In Today → My Routines, choose Add Routine. Use a template or your own name and optional photo.
- Choose how it repeats.Use a schedule for selected days and time slots, or As Needed for things you may do several times.
- Keep your Watch nearby.Open the app on both devices and use Sync Now. Tap I did it on your Watch. Your confirmation appears in History.
One quick action.
Set your most-used routine as Primary. Add the built-in shortcut template once. It uses your primary routine without asking you to choose each time.
Supported Watch models can use Double Tap in the routine's quick view. AssistiveTouch gestures can run the shortcut after you assign it in Watch settings. Gesture availability is controlled by your Watch and system settings.
As-needed routines show Log Again after the first completion. You can undo a record if you tapped by mistake.
Apple Health, explained.
Open Settings → Apple Health for the HealthKit feature and data-use explanation. It is visible even if this device cannot import medications.
- On iOS 26 or later with available Health data, tap Choose Medications from Apple Health.
- Tap Select Medications in Health and use Apple’s permission screen to select what the app may read.
- Choose names, tap Use Selected, review the new routine and save. You can also import names into notes while editing a routine.
Only selected medication names are saved in routine notes and synced to the paired Watch. Completion records are not written to Health; Health medications and reminders are not changed. Set reminder times separately in I Did It. Without permission or compatible Health data, manual entry remains available.
To review or turn off access, open Health → your profile → Apps under Privacy → I Did It. The app may appear only after requesting access. Revoking access does not remove names already saved in routine notes; edit those notes to remove them.
Family help through AirDrop.
In Settings → Family Routines & AirDrop, prepare a routine or reminder file, review it, then choose AirDrop or the system share sheet. The recipient opens it in I Did It, reviews the proposal and explicitly adds it. Opening a file never marks completion.
Files include the sender name, selected routine or reminder details, notes, schedule and time zone. They exclude history, photos and voice clips. Review notes for private information, including imported medication names, before sharing. File sharing provides no remote connection or delivery receipt.
Common questions
Why does my Watch show an older version?
Open I Did It on your iPhone and keep both devices nearby and unlocked. Allow time for the Watch app to update. Check Settings & Sync → Device Status on the Watch. A normal Watch restart may help. Export a backup before uninstalling or resetting anything.
Why does a shortcut say “already recorded”?
Scheduled routines are recorded once for each selected time slot. As-needed shortcuts suppress repeats within two minutes. Check the named routine and slot in the message and History. Device Status also shows the last 10 local primary-shortcut results.
How do I change the language?
Choose English, Simplified Chinese or System in Settings → Language on each device. Changing language keeps your own routine names and saved records unchanged.
Can I use voice input or Read Aloud?
On iPhone, Voice Log can suggest a routine name or completion; you review before saving. On-device recognition availability depends on the device and language. Read Aloud uses an installed system voice. Check device volume and the connected audio output if speech is silent.
Does it write records to Apple Health?
No. On supported iOS versions, you may allow read-only access to medication names to fill a routine note. Completion records stay in this app and are not written to Health.
How do I back up or delete data?
Use Settings → Backup & Restore on iPhone to export a file. Backups are not encrypted by the app. Erase All Data removes app records and syncs that deletion to the paired Watch. Delete exported files separately if you no longer want them.
A familiar voice and clearer records
Familiar voice: edit a routine on iPhone, choose Record a familiar voice, record and preview up to 30 seconds, then save the routine. Both devices need 1.1 or later for this update. Tap Listen to a familiar voice to play it; playback never marks completion. You can replace or remove it in the editor.
The app also provides uncertain records with explicit review, family helper attribution, settings protection, an isolated practice screen, and report previews. Availability depends on the installed version. No remote family account or automatic family notifications are provided.
